By registering for The Great Rio Singalong (featuring I Go to Rio) as part of the Peter Allen Festival in Tenterfield NSW, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Registration & Participation
My registration confirms my intention to participate in the official singalong attempt. To be included in the official count, I must check in onsite as directed by event organisers. Registration fees are per participant.
2. Refund Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable except in the event of full cancellation by organisers. If the event is postponed due to weather, safety concerns, government direction, or other force majeure circumstances, registrations may be transferred to a rescheduled date.
3. Copyright & Licensing
The event operates under appropriate public performance licensing arrangements. Participation does not grant any commercial rights or ownership in the song or associated intellectual property.
4. Media Release & Consent
I acknowledge that the event will be photographed, filmed, livestreamed and may include drone footage. I grant the organisers of the Peter Allen Festival the irrevocable right to capture and use my image, voice, name, and likeness in photographs, video recordings, livestreams, broadcasts, promotional materials, social media, marketing campaigns, sponsor materials, and archival content in any format worldwide, in perpetuity, without compensation.
I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or its use and release the organisers from any claims arising from such use.
5. Future Promotional Use
I understand that event footage and images may be used in future promotional campaigns relating to the Peter Allen Festival and associated events.
6. Safety & Conduct
I agree to comply with all safety instructions, event regulations, and directions from event staff and security personnel. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove participants engaging in unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive behaviour without refund.
7. Minors
If registering a participant under 18 years of age, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and provide consent for participation and media use as described above.
8. Record Verification
The event may attempt to verify participation numbers through independent counting systems. Official recognition of any record attempt is not guaranteed.
9. Liability
I acknowledge that participation is at my own risk. The organisers hold appropriate public liability insurance; however, I release the organisers, sponsors, partners, and associated personnel from liability for personal injury, loss, or damage except where required by law.
By proceeding with registration and payment, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, Conditions, and Media Release provisions.
